Our specialized, pediatric caregivers include registered nurses (RN) and licensed practical nurses (LPN). Our compassionate team, experienced in the use of the most advanced, high-tech equipment, specializes in caring for technology-dependent infants and children whose lives are impacted by a wide variety of conditions and illnesses. Our nursing staff is trained to administer a variety of medications, designated to the child’s care and provide quality care at the bedside of your children.
Our specialized physical therapy will help your child function at their highest level, meet developmental milestones and interact with familiar activities as fully as possible. We use some of the latest techniques to help maximize your child's functional outcomes
We provide transportation services to all Medicaid eligible children that receive services at our center. Our transportation is able to pick up the child from home or school, to our center, and then return them home. Pick-up and drop-off times are coordinated alongside parents. During our transport, support staff staff accompanies every trip.
Our occupational therapists (OT) specialize in evaluating and treating fine motor, visual processing, self-help, sensory processing, motor coordination, cognitive and social skills. Our focus is on improving the daily functional tasks in your child's life.
Our speech therapists (ST or SLP) specialize in evaluating and treating speech, language, oral motor and feeding disorders. Our therapy goals aide in the development of your child's receptive and expressive language, articulation and social skills. We promote your child's ability to understand and express their needs and wants.
We offer applied behavior analysis to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Emotional-Behavioral Disorders (EDB), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Down Syndrome and other developmental disabilities
Respiratory Therapy is available daily to keep your child’s breathing easy and provide: respiratory assessment, oxygen monitoring, oxygen administration, nebulizer treatments, CPT, postural drainage, suctioning and tracheotomy care.
A licensed clinical social worker is present at the facility. Our social work department works at connecting families to local resources, advocating for patient needs, as well as cultivating a working relationship with our medical providers. Our social worker is available to speak with parents and community members during PPEC hours
We at GTGPPEC make it our mission that our children be able to enjoy activities and outings . We usually have field-trips every Saturday!
From restaurants, the beach, trampoline parks and more, we believe providing our children with these interactions along with our staff and their peers is essential to their well being and growth.
Community and family is essential to us here at Glory to God PPEC. Once your child is enrolled with us, we will continuously work closely with you and your child's physicians in establishing goals, milestones and monitoring of your child's progress.
Our staff assists parents with coordinating and making appointments for their child. If necessary, our support staff and social worker will attend appointments with parents or on behalf of parents, in order to ensure that the child is receiving and maintaining all appointments up to date. Our staff will help parents with making and maintain appointments for their child.
As part of our curriculum, children are assisted with schoolwork and homework.
